Pune Education board will take Sun Dew apartment
The education board of Pune proposed to the civic body to hand them over the Sun Dew Apartments for starting a Marathi e-learning academy.
According to the proposal, the first four floors of the apartment will be used by the board to set up a primary e-learning Marathi school.
A teachers training centre will be operated on the fifth floor, while a meeting hall is planned on the sixth floor. After completion of the construction of 9th and 10th floor, the board plans to use it for setting up an academy.
Earlier the civic body had changed the apartment to a residential complex. And after the judgment made by the supreme court, the PMC was forced to take over the apartment in Pune.
