Real estate research institute in Bangalore

No Comments Sub Category:Bangalore,Realty News Posted On: May 23, 2012

iimbThe Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and Century Real Estate joined together to launch a real estate research institute in the city.

The main objective of the IIMB-Century Real Estate Research Initiative will be on collecting data and conducting cross-disciplinary research on the Indian real estate sector that will be published in academic and practitioner journals.

The institute will provide guidance and policy prescriptions to government and industry stakeholders on major issues relating to the real estate sector in India.

IIMB took this initiative as IIMB has traversed many boundaries to develop its own expertise in management education and research on the public sector, to information technology to a focus on emerging economies. This will be another successful step in this direction.

The Century Real Estate felt that there is a tearing need for such an initiative in the real estate space that will focus on research, act as an interface between the industry and the policy makers and eventually churn out quality human resource for this sector.
