Realtor body AFORD established in Odisha
In order to remove the trust deficit issues between the customers and investors in real estate business and specially to create a stable platform, various leading players in real estate business formed the Association for Odisha Real estate Developers (AFORD).
The MP of Bhuvaneswar and BDJ senior leader, made the official announcement of AFORD while presenting the official logo. Pastani, during the event stated that it was a moment of pleasure and celebration because the builders have agreed to sign certain codes regarding ethics and self regulation in order to maintain transparency in work. This initiative would also help in increasing faith and trust in between the customers and investors, which initially existed as a major problem within the business. He also expected to see the development of Bhuvaneswar with similar up rise within the upcoming 10 years.
While unveiling the official website of AFORD, Sidhant Mohapatra who is the MP of Brahmapur, said that this is a major milestone in the development of Bhuvaneswar as the state should practice real estate business on a legal term and hence the code and ethics that have been formed will help in ensuring and maintaining the needed.
