Reliance ADA Group ready to invest in infrastructure projects in Telangana
It seems the new focus of Reliance ADA Group led by chairman Anil Ambani will be Infrastructure in this fiscal. Anil Ambani on Monday called on Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekar Rao (KCR), along with other industrial leaders including those from GVK and GMR groups.
Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra), a part of the Reliance Group (led by Anil Ambani), has appointed MS Mehta an alumni of IIM-A as the chief executive officer (CEO). This move clearly shows that the company is all set to invest heavily in the infrastructure sector after a positive vibe of Modinomics.
Ambani was accompanied by GV Krishna Reddy of the GVK Group, GBS Raju of GMR, L Madhusudhan Rao of Lanco, besides a delegation of Association of Power Producers led by Ashok Khurana. The good news is that it seems Anil is an admirer of KCR and while drawing a comparison between his father Late Sh. Dhirubhai Ambani and KCR, Anil mentioned that both grew step by step in their chosen careers.
In this meeting Anil offered to promote infrastructure, power, media and other industrial units in Telangana. KCR welcomed the move and asked Anil Ambani to invest in the region as they have the necessary resources.
There were discussions about investment prospects in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema regions in petrochemical, cement, power, infrastructure and media sectors.
