Reliance to build mall in Delhi
RIL (Reliance Industries Limited) is set to come up with a mall in Delhi.
According to sources, RIL will use the land Mukesh Ambani won in a Delhi Development Authority bid for around Rs.400 crore in 2007 to construct its 720,000 sq ft commercial complex at Alaknanda.
RIL plans to accommodate two- fifth of the retailing space to brands owned by Reliance Retail (a subsidiary arm of RIL). The cost of construction is estimated to be around 200 to 250 crore for construction and is projected to be executed by the end of 2014.
The project is waiting for a green signal from the Delhi Pollution Control Committee. It has already received the green signal from the Union environment and forest ministry.
