Repair Damage by NCP to speed up pending CIDCO projects
Since the defeat of the NCP during the recent elections, and the miserable loss of the Lok Sabha seat, the party has come to a new conclusion. They have now started to speed up all the infrastructure projects which were pending earlier. This has been planned exclusively to win back some of its favour.
Its agenda is quite interesting. One will find the presence of Several City and Industrial Development Corporation projects for the welfare of PAPs, redevelopment of old buildings and regularization of gaothans as a part of it.
NDA has also been planning on the same thing after it won the elections this year. The seats of Airoli and Belapur are up for being grabbed in the upcoming elections. The state government has not yet made its decision while on the other hand the Cidco board had already given its allowance in the year 2012 to regularize some unauthorized structures.
According to Sandeep, even the geothan regularization issue has been pending for a long period of time. The state government still hasn’t given its final verdict in the plan endorsed by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). This one had decided to contribute 2.5 FSI for the development of all broken and poorly constructed buildings.
