Residential launches dips in Hyderabad: C&W

Comments(2) Sub Category:Hyderabad,Realty News,Residential Real Estate Posted On: Sep 06, 2012

According to a report by consultants Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), new residential project launches in Hyderabad have declined by nearly 75 per cent to 1,500 units in the first half of 2012.

The total number of new residential units launched was approximately 1,500 units in first half of 2012. It is very low compared to over 6,000 new project launches during the same period last year in Hyderabad.

C&W states that the dip is due to the to ambiguity in the governmental policy. However, the report states that almost 40,000 residential units will be launched in the market in the next three years. Of the newly launches, nearly 60 per cent will cater to the mid-segment category.

Analysts state that relaxation in land reservation regulation will boost the real estate industry.
