Residential properties sales will rise in NCR
According to a global real estate consultancy firm, the sales of residential properties have increased in the first quarter of 2012 in NCR region of Delhi.
According to the report, Delhi’s residential market might see some appreciation in capital value. Once the projects get approval from the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), projects in Noida Extension are also expected to resume construction work soon.
According to the report, nearly 5,00,000 units are under various stages of construction in the NCR market. Of which most of the projects will be ready for possession by 2013.
Noida and Greater Noida were favorable destinations for developers as both locations have very good connectivity with Delhi and land was being made available by the government at cheaper rates.
Sales have shown an upward trend in January-March 2012, as customer confidence seems to have been restored. Affordable residential projects are also coming up in the region as well as in Faridabad and Ghaziabad.
It is also reported that nearly 66% of the absorption has happened in the affordable and mid-segment housing projects.
