1 Comment Sub Category:Bangalore,Municipality Posted On: Jul 03, 2012

Annoyed by the issue of lesser water supply, the residents of JC Nagar, Bangalore blocked the streets to express their anger on Sunday.

The agitated residents gathered at the main signal junction near Shivaji Talkies on JC Road and blocked the traffic.

The residents of SJ Park, Vinobha Nagar, Journalists’ Colony, Doddamavalli and Sudhama Nagar also hit the streets to blow their rage over water shortage.

The residents said that there is acute shortage of water and also there is an issue of getting contaminated water. Even the water tankers are becoming out of reach nowadays.

The road was blocked for three hours to draw the government’s attention towards their problem. The traffic around JC Road—on roads going towards Lalbagh, Jayanagar, VV Puram—was affected because of the protest.
