Residents of Allahabad are favouring boycott of use of polythene

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Allahabad residents have taken pledge to boycott the use of polythene bags in the city.

The residents have come up with a slogan “Save Natural Resources and Environment” for the same.

A door to door campaign was conducted to spread awareness about protecting environment and forest conservation.

Even the Guinness Book Record holder, Rajendra Tiwari ‘Dukaanji’ asked the reidents to plant more trees to maintain ecological balance.
