Residents of Campa Cola Compound in a difficult spot

No Comments Sub Category:Mumbai,Realty News Posted On: Jun 30, 2014

The Campa Cola residents seem to be in a difficult spot since the government has promised to come up with a way to regularize all flats that are illegal. However, the major drawback here remains just one thing; it may take a lot of time to finish the procedures.

Even though the task of regularization will be started off with shortly, the BMC has continued with its work of cutting down the water, gas and electricity supplies on Wednesday. At the end of the day, there were around 51 gas lines, 90 electricity supplies and 40 water supplies which were cut off. The officials have also mentioned that it would take up another two days in order remove all utilities from the flats.

One of the officials has said even though the chief minister has guaranteed protection, the entire process is definitely going to take up loads of time. There have been quite a number of residents who have not quit their homes in the past couple of days. Some of them have taken up cylinders so that it could replace the gas lines while others have been arranging their meals from families and friends. However, they also mentioned that the absence of water would make situations worse. However, they are looking forward to find an alternative and solution to this problem.
