Comments(2) Sub Category:Legal,Realty News Posted On: Dec 22, 2011

Residents of Mira Road, Mumbai were in a state of shock as two seven storied buildings got a signal from municipal corporation for demolition.

Those residents could not believe their abode being demolished for which they were still paying home loans.

The flats are Ashirwad Manzil and Ashirwad Prem and the owners have been given a notice to vacate it.

The Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has given a nod for the demolition as it was built illegally on the land allotted for community hall and civic school.

Residents have threatened to protest against the demolition and said it was builder’s fault who has misled the buyers.
