For the construction of these 22 Pucca houses, the RG Group incurred a total expenditure of Rs 1 crore. The construction work was completed in a period of five months. The houses are made up of strong concrete; and have one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
The keys of the 22 Pucca houses gifted by the Trust in the mentioned villages were handed out to the beneficiaries recently, in the presence of local MLA and Deputy Speaker of Uttrakhand Assembly, Anusuiya Prasad Maikhuri.
Maikhuri praised RG Charitable Trust for its act of kindness in the form of providing the 22 Pucca houses to the calamity-affected people of Uttrakhand villages. Last year, when the calamity struck the state, the Trust had provided immediate relief to the people by providing food to them, distributing blankets and clothes, and building and handing out 300 sheds for temporary shelter.
