Rs. 8,000-crore township project launched- DSK developers

DSK Dream City, a township project under the Maharashtra Special Township Act at Loni on the Pune-Solapur highway was launched by Pune-based real-estate developer D S Kulkarni Developers Ltd (DSK Developers).

12,000 residential units in seven phases will be constructed in eight years and Rs 8,000-crore will be used for the entire project. 256 acres out of 300 acres are already acquired for the project and the first phase of 1,044 homes has just been announced. The first phase will be ready for possession by the end of 2017.

Facilities and Amenities:

This will be a complete township with clearly demarcated areas for sports, IT parks, malls and markets, schools and an entertainment zone. DSK has just launched a residential football academy in association with the premier league team Liverpool Football Club and the academy will be housed inside this township.

D S Kulkarni, the Chairman and Managing Director of  DSK Developers mentioned that there will be an IT park on 20 lakh square feet, a seven-star hotel, 15 academies for sports, 26 cricket pitches, 14 gardens, including a botanical garden, and a total of 250 amenities.

Artificial water and surface transport:

This huge township will be well connected internally and externally. There will be an artificial river running through it which will also provide a transportation system. Surface transport through the city will be provided by a tram system which is pollution free. Eco-friendly initiatives like rain water harvesting, sewage treatment and water recycling will help to provide water for the township.
