Sangvi phata, Pune to get a flyover
Sangvi-Kiwale Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) route will be constructed by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to enable uninterrupted traffic flow.
Joint city engineer Rajan Patil points out that a 14-km Sangvi-Kiwale Road is being developed. It starts from Mukai chowk in Kiwale to Rajiv Gandhi bridge on Mula river in Sangvi as a BRTS route. The road has been widened to 45 meter. The cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 54.79 crore. A pedestrian underpass will be built for passengers alighting to cross the road safely and reach the other side. For vehicles coming from Sangvi, a flyover will be built to cross the chowk and go towards Rakshak chowk. It will be one-way.
