Shalimar residents demand crossing on BRTS Lane in Indore

No Comments Sub Category:Other cities,RWA/Owners’ Association Posted On: Aug 10, 2012

Residents of Shalimar Township on AB road, one of the largest townships in Indore are facing trouble due to the construction of BRTS corridor.

The 1000 plus vehicle owners of the township demand that there should be crossing on the lane as abrupt end to the service lane on either side of the entry to the complex has made things difficult.

The residents plan to send an application signed by the residents to the authorities requesting to provide a route till the township.

The residents have complained that there is no cut in the BRTS lane near the entrance area so residents have to drive a kilometer distance to reach the road. The fact that there are no street lights on the stretch adds to woes during night hours.
