Single window clearance for real estate projects in Telangana: welcomed by realtors & buyers
The newly formed state of Telangana is taking all the measures to expedite the growth in the state. The Telangana Government is considering coming out with norms for a single window clearance system for real estate and other construction projects. This will cut short the project implementation time and increase transparency.
The State Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj, KT Rama Rao, has mentioned that the Government is in favour of coming out with a policy that helps developers implement projects faster with early clearance from the Government. This will safeguard the interests of the developers as they can reduce the project costs due to early clearances and reduction of road blocks and the buyer will be benefitted with the reduced cost and hassles.
Speaking at a real estate event Gruhapravesham, the Minister wanted the industry players, including real estate sector companies to come up with suggestions to expedite project implementation. This was the first property show after the bifurcation of the State; Rao mentioned that his Government is committed to facilitating the growth of the sector.
It wants the sector players to come out with suggestions, which the Government would consider. The minister urged the developers to be a part of the development process.
