Smart cities to ensure work of urban voters
The number of urban voters has been a sign of faith for BJP. However this is completely natural as this number has been the main support base for the party. When Narendra Modi announced about the set up of 100 smart cities he actually went forward in making an announcement which was pre discussed by various technology firms to ensure that the urban generation from middle class families do not find them in a struggle within the already overloaded urban job sectors.
The Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley made a statement during his budget speech about the necessity of these smart cities and that the process should start as quickly as possible. In order to start the work of commencing this plan he set aside a budget of Rs 7,060 crore in this financial year. Prinicpal Counsellor of CII Green Building, Srinivas stated that the planning for smart cities should start while keeping the green laws, so that the environment does not get hampered.
The advantage that will be gained from the set up of these smart cities is that the power demand in some particular location can be easily located and met accordingly. Effective transport system will also be a sign of development here.
