South Chennai provides a galore of investment options
South Chennai is coming up with a number of new township projects for possession or nearing possession.
These new projects offer a variety of property types ranging from multi-storey apartments, builder floor apartments, independent villas and plots, priced at Rs 2500-3700 per sq ft.
An appreciation of 30% has been witnessed since the projects were launched in 2008-09, described Fazil Ahmed, City Manager, DHFL property.
The most preferred categories in these projects are 2 and 3BHK units followed by plots and then independent villas. These projects will witness a complete occupancy within 1-2 years.
40 km away from the city the first township projects to be launched in South Chennai was the Palace Gardens by the Hiranandani Group in Singaperumal Koil, with 1-5 BHK apartments with 800-3000 sq ft of area, priced at Rs 3550 per sq ft.
Uniworld City by Unitech is one of the most successful township projects in South Chennai which offers 2BHK independent units at an affordable price of Rs 17 lakh that has attracted a lot of end users.
Two more township projects coming up in Oragadam, Temple Green by Arun Excello Developers and Inno Geocity by the Inno Group and the former offers multi-storey apartments in the range of Rs 2600-2800 per sq ft while the latter has semi-independent villas at a starting price of Rs 25 lakh.
