Switch board converted into a smart device- new innovation
City-based Pert Electronics, which has developed a product that converts switchboard into a smart device, is looking to tap real estate developers for bulk sales. Since huge housing complexes have switch boards, and if the existing network can be used to beef up security, then it will be a win-win situation for the realtors and the home buyers.
The company is planning to raise round A series funding in about two months. This funding will be used for the further development and enhancement of the product. This technology ensures safety and connectivity to the residents at minimal costs.
Most of the advanced countries use these kinds of apps in their apartment complexes. In the US, Europe, Canada and Australia, most of the housing apartments do not have manned security guards. They have electronic devices to track the vehicles and owners have smart cards to enter the residential complexes. Some advanced apartment complexes even use Biometric and Retina scanning devices to allow the residents to enter. This enhances the safety by manifolds.
The device connects to Smartphones through Wi-Fi and the phone acts like a remote. Also it can be operated from any range. This can be used to regulate various devices within the household. Since remote monitoring is possible, the parents can monitor the activities of home alone children when they are out.
