Tamil Nadu Housing Board planning to launch highrise

A massive redevelopment plan has been planned by Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) at various localities in Chennai city.

Apartments in Chennai at areas like Foreshore Estate, Nandanam, Kilpauk and Saidapet will come under the redevelopment plan.

The Tamil Nadu Housing Board will develop around 4,691 highrise apartment complexes with the budget estimation of Rs 680 crore.

According to TNHB, these apartments will be rented-out to general public and government servants.

In the same scheme, 400 rental apartments at Anna Nagar West Extension and Thiruvanmiyur can be expected soon. Also, old rental apartments are planned to be repaired with cost of Rs 10 crore.
