Ten Top priorities of the Modi Goverment

No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Jun 02, 2014

Mr. Narendra Modi, our new P.M believes in implementing and executing projects, bills and acts in a time bound fashion. In line with his election manifesto, he has charted the ten top priorities for the country which will be released to the press on May 29, Thursday. In his first interview to the media after taking over as Principal Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Nripendra Misra talked about this agenda.

The 1967 batch IAS officer and former TRAI chairman Misra was hand-picked by NaMo for this new role. Misra who had never met Modi or worked in any of his teams earlier was chosen for this role due to his honesty and dedication. He mentioned that the PMO needs to be in sync with the image, personality and commitment of the PM who is all set to bring about a huge reform in India.

Misra declined to comment on the PMO’s strategy in connection with infrastructure and policy reforms, and put the ball in Modi’s court by stating that they will be revealed by the man himself. However he expressed concerns over India’s rich natural resources and declining earnings from exports and no logic behind importing coal when India is rich in coal reserves. Misra also expressed dissatisfaction over non-operational completed power projects, NHAI’s inability to deliver the projects within the pre-approved budget & deadlines and huge investments in these power and infrastructure projects.
