The Aam Admi Party files a complaint on the issue of slum redevelopment

No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Jun 10, 2014

The Aam Admi Party has gone ahead and filed a complaint along with the police against the critical issue of slum redevelopment. They have accused the Union Urban Development Ministry and the DDA to sell land all the land at inexpensive prices to a private developer in one of the posh areas of New Delhi.

The party during filing its complaints has also mentioned that the land which was to be used in order to build the Kathputli colony had given the developer several rules so that it would make enough profit. The complaint was filed by Ashish Khaitan of the Aam Aadmi Party at the Ranjit Nagar police station. He had also contested during the New Lok Sabha Elections in Delhi although luck didn’t favour him as such. Khaitan has also mentioned that the scam went up to insane amounts of money and had made all the allegations during the election campaign.

In one of the statements, AAP has said that it hopes that the Bharatiya Janata Party will keep its promise and live up to the expectations of the nation and make sure that justice is given to all the people who have been affected in the heart of the capital itself.
