The Bangalore Development Authority makes a final decision to denotify 7 acres of land
The Bangalore Development Authority has gone ahead and denotified seven acres of land in the controversial site itself. On Saturday, the allottees association also shot off a letter to the chief minister Siddaramaiah. He happens to be the chairman of BDA and also demands a CBI intervention into the issue of denotification.
There are survey numbers which has been proposed for a denotification. They are 85/10 85/8, 76/1 and 76/4, The BDA also took protection from the police when the farmers and the allottees said they would like to meet the members of the agency.
The letter goes on to say that this particular piece of land is about to be denotified in about 7 acres. It would be around 10 guantas in size. The real owner had been given around 122 sites in the form of compensation under the scheme of 40:60 sharing of land scheme which was floated by the BDA. The distraught allottees mentioned that the land worth would be covered by an authentic probe and it would cost around 975 crore. This has also been denotified from time to time.
