The government will now make decisions at a faster pace since the UPA term has come to an end. The Finance Minister will now take calls on the pricing of any of the public sector firm’s stake sale. The coal and power minister on the other hand, Piyush Goyal has decided to solve all those problems concerning mega power projects at a quicker pace. The urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu will now handle and approve of all the metro rail projects all throughout the country without waiting for the cabinet ministers and chief ministers to meet on a certain date.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now decided to allow the ministers to take up all issues which are pending. This was conveyed by him on Thursday during the second cabinet meeting.

While Mister Arun Jaitley plays an important role in influencing all the decisions made by the other ministers, the only role which will devolve him is to take all important decisions on the stake cells as well as sharing buy packs from the public sector firms. This includes pricing, timing as well as their quantum.

Ravi Shankar Prasad who happens to be the law and telecom minister will try to come up with a strategy for public sectors such as BSNL and MTNL and take important steps towards resolving all issues and disputes concerning the telecom spectrum and its pricing, allocation, licensing and trying to bring about a sense of uniformity in the terms and conditions. This includes retirement age, tribunals and regulatory bodies monitored by the retired judges and accommodation for all bodies that are quasi-judicial.
