“The Silk Road Discovered” takes about coming of Chinese FDI into India and more

A book states, that the Chinese FDI coming into India, can touch the USD 30 billion by 2025. The book named “The Silk Road Discovered” states that it is very much possible that within 2025, the stock of Chinese FDI into India could be around USD 30 billion, and if clustered Chinese industries come to establish themselves in India, the stock could meet even larger value.

The book is co-authored by a Singapore based business veteran named Girija Pande, Washington DC based research consultancy China India Institute chairman, Anil K.Gupta and the managing partner of the institute Haivan Wang. Pande has stated that India has placed power plant orders with China worth rupees USD 10 billion. Pande is the executive chairman of the investment based Apex Avalon Consultancy in Singapore and the previous chairman of Tata Consultancy Services in Asia Pacific.

Pande, also said that the Chinese, must manufacture these among others in India and be close to the market. The book is a 296 page publication and talks about how the Indian and Chinese companies have become globally stronger by winning in each other markets. The book also examines how Indian companies like; TCS, Mahindra Tractors, Jaguar/Tata Motors, NIIT, Sundaram Fasteners and Land Rover have found ways to win in the Chinese market.
