The top agenda of the government is to see projects take off
The administration of the new government is very much interested to see projects which have been faced with hurdles, will in reality take off at the lowest level so that all the activities of the economy are boosted and more job opportunities have been provided.
A senior government official who did not want his identity to be disclosed mentioned that the government is desirous of seeing smoke emerge out of these factories, cars that are running on the streets for real and power flowing profusely out of the plants.
There were around 155 projects out of 438 projects have been addressed. They involve an instrument which costs a large chunk of money.
The promoters and developers are not to give any kind of details to the government on the recent progress once the project has been cleared by the agencies of the government, This has resulted in the absence of details.
The secretariat of the Cabinet and the office of the Prime Minister has stepped directly into the job of monitoring results since the several departments of the financial services couldn’t carry out their task of monitoring results too well since information was not forthcoming.
