On Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has mentioned and assured that the state will pretty soon take up the demand of the legislator in order to increase the size of the construction area from 20,000 sq m to much more for the purpose of environmental clearance so that smaller projects have been removed from tricky clearances.

He has also mentioned that very soon there will be a meeting arranged between the Chief Minister and Union environment minister Prakash Javadekar where important issues related to this shall be discussed. The BJP legislator Ashish Shelar has told in one of his remarks that in order to allow the small township projects to meet the buyer’s demands, the state should definitely make some recommendations to the Centre to increase the size limit which is currently 20,000 sq m.
