Thermal power plant boundary wall demolished by Villagers
The under-construction boundary wall of the proposed KVK Nilachal thermal power plant at Rahanguda village in Cuttack was demolished by the villagers.
The villagers gathered the construction site in Cuttack and alleging that the construction company purchased their land at lesser prices.
The villagers wants to increase the compensation amount and they also have filed a petition in the local court.
The court has imposed a status quo in the construction land, but the construction company has violated the order and they started the construction of the boundary wall.
The company had acquired 113 acres of land for the construction of 1400 MW power project.
