Traditional market culture fading away in Bangalore!

1 Comment Sub Category:Bangalore,Civic Issues,Municipality Posted On: Apr 24, 2012

Good that Bangalore city is growing very fast today! However, it is blindly rushing behind the mall culture and at the same time the traditional markets are being faded away from the city.

Recently, the traditional markets at Gandhibazar and Malleswaram were taken away just because of the malls raising up every now and then.

Also, according to the government orders namma Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been rushing clearing all the encroachments on the road side at different localities in Bangalore city.

It has been recently learnt that even Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has been encouraging mall culture, therefore paving way for demolition of traditional markets in the city.

Very soon BDA has announced to re-construct Seshadripuram market in Bangalore city with the budget estimation of Rs 17.85 crore.
