There are no rules followed by motorists or auto rickshaws in the entire locality of Jayanagar, Bangalore.
Inspite of “No entry” and “One way” boards, the commuters seems not to follow basic traffic rules.
Therefore, traffic congestion has become a key issue for the commuters at Jayanagar locality in Bangalore.
The Madhavan Park Circle which draws traffic from three junctions has no proper traffic management. This situation is leading to traffic chaos every day.
The residents’ complaint saying motorists do not consider traffic signals or traffic rules. The auto rickshaws and buses are nowhere less,even they hurry up taking short cuts to avoid traffic.
Traffic police at Madhavan Park Circle, ensuring Zebra crossing, footpaths cleared from food stalls, widening of Mountain Road and installation of traffic signals at every junction are few suggestions to avoid traffic congestion at Jayanagar locality.
