Traffic Signal At Mayur Vihar Delhi
The Red Light at the main road near Mayur Vihar Phase-I crossing has became a pain for the commuters. According to the localities the red light is not required at Mayur Vihar as there is not much of traffic observed in this area.
The localities say that there is always a free way next to the signal, after crossing the commuters have to end up paying fine.
The citizens are happy with the good work kept up by police and are expecting the same to be followed in future also!
The inspector from the public interface department of Delhi Traffic Police said that if there is no use of the light and if there is free space next to the signal then it should be removed.
Residents can also take initiative to get it removed. To do so, the resdients should submit a request with signatures of 15-20 people to DCP headquarters.
The DCP headquarters will investigate on it and if found not required based on TI report signal will be removed.
