Training for girls before applying for licence

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will perform totally free three-day training for females between the age group of 16 to 30 years who want to submit an application for two-wheeler traveling licence.

The civic body has tied up with four teaching institutes to reach the goal. This training is an opportunity to knowledge the girls about the traffic rules and regulations.

Girls who are interested can find the institutions at Pul gate, Ghorpade Peth, Mundhawa and M G Road. The civic body will include more schools in the next stage.

PMC planned to market the programme in newspapers and the girls can simply carry the paper cutting of the ad and come to the institution. The institute will sign up for membership and form a training batch that will undergo training on traffic rules and regulations.

The training supplement will have details about traffic signs and Motor Vehicle Act. All the details that is needed to attend driving licence test are going to be supplied in the training.
