Unauthorized structures in a building demolished in Noida
The Noida Authority on Thursday has removed the unauthorized structures at a commercial complex in the city. The civic authority has taken action following the repeated complaints by the shop owners who stated that the structures were a threat to the building. The structures could have caused further mishaps if steps were not taken. The structures needed to be demolished because it would have else caused problem to the building.
According to the officials the demolition had started at the 11.30 am amidst the heavy police presence. The planning department carried out a thorough inspection at the G-75B in the Sector 27 as said by the officials of Noida’s work circle-2. Post the inspection the demolition process was carry forward.
It was found that the building’s basement had been divided into two parts on creating fire safety issues. Some shops have been created by covering the pergola which has not been allowed he stated. Other building rules violations by the builder includes covering of the open to the sky areas besides allowing the temporary structures the official stated. The fire safety issues need to be seen into so as to avoid further problems.
