Unhygienic conditions surround Byculla

1 Comment Sub Category:Health,Mumbai,Municipality Posted On: Apr 06, 2012

Residents of Byculla, Mumbai have been staying in unhygienic condition from past twenty days.

The reason being the nearby Masina hospital has flouted all rules and has thrown all biomedical wastes in the neighbourhood.

BMC is quiet uninterested in this matter and residents have to bear the unbearable stench and unpleasant view in their locality.

The areas which are greatly affected are Rustom Baug, Jer Baug, Jain Colony and others. The hospital authorities blame it on the sanitation workers who have not picked the wastes.

The contractor appointed by BMC has confirmed that the wastes will be cleared at the earliest.
