Urgency clause dropped from land acquisition rule

1 Comment Sub Category:Cities,Delhi-NCR,Gurgaon,Realty News Posted On: Apr 11, 2012

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) dropped the urgency clause for acquiring village lands.

The decision has been taken after the order ruled out by Allahabad high court.

According to the order any land acquired from the farmers without hearing objections should be returned to them.

Farmers are also ready to sale the lands at good prices, but they will object the forceful acquisition of their lands.

The YEIDA has notified more than 40,000 acres of land from 70 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar for acquisition.
