Visitors mesmerized by Greater Noida’s infrastructure and cuisine
Greater Noida is leaving the Auto Expo visitors spellbound with its widened roads, the green Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway which has seen throngs heading to the city for global meets like the Indian Grand Prix and the recently held Asian Development Bank (ADB) conclave. As a result, Greater Noida has emerged as a hub of business activity.
Brijesh Bhanote, director (sales and marketing), The 3C Company says
“Excellent infrastructure in Noida and Greater Noida has started to attract several MNCs. This will have a tremendous impact on the demand for hospitality and realty sector in the area,”
“It has started to reflect in the number of housing projects launched here. Besides, world class knowledge parks have come up that add value through industry-ready skilled manpower. A large number of IT companies are foraging for locally available skilled professionals,” said RK Arora, vice-president, CREDAI (Western UP) and CMD Supertech group.
Beyond infrastructure, it’s the culinary side of the Auto Expo that’s appealed to foreigners. Dishes from different parts of the country, cooked delicately and assorted beautifully, were presented to the racers who were more than happy to tuck in.
“Amidst Rajsthani folk music and dances, I went through the mouth-watering kebabs, seafood, kadi, tawa roti, rumali roti and various kinds of naan,” said Agatha, who works with a leading car manufacturer.
“It’s the first time I’ve had daal makhni and butter chicken. Initially I found the dishes spicy but I’ll miss the food,” said Chun Hei, who works with a Korean manufacturer.
