VUDA master plan gets bid from 7 companies
Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) is reviewing bids by 7 companies for preparation of a master plan, including review and revision of the existing master plan and zonal development plans. The notification was issued by VUDA in February seeking consultancy support and preparation of the master plan for an area of 5,573 sq km. Seven firms have responded and submitted technical and financial bids.
The firms which have submitted the bids are: Aarvee Associates Engineers and Consultants and Surbana International Consultants of Hyderabad, EGIS India Consulting Engineers of Secunderabad, Department of Architecture, Andhra University College of Engineering of Visakhapatnam, Feedback Infra of Gurgaon, LEA Associates South Asia of New Delhi and Rudrabhishek Enterprises of Noida.
An expert committee is evaluating the technical bids and the consultant would be finalised in a few days. In view of the election code in vogue, the decision of finalizing and assigning the job to the selected firm would be taken duly obtaining permission from the Election Commission.
