Water Mafia controls the supply of ground water at Nizampet

The water mafias are controlling the supply of ground water for the 70000 residents in and around Nizampet. The crisis of drinking water increases this situation. It is reported that every house hold has to pay at about 4000 per month for the water only.The condition was not so much poor few years back. But the unplanned digging of borewells for the last 2-3 years created the crisis.
The current official of Nizampet Panchayat expressed his unability to control the movement of the private water tankers in the area.
