Wrecking ball on many illegal constructions at the nations capital

No Comments Sub Category:Construction,Delhi-NCR,Realty News Posted On: May 21, 2014

The nation’s capital has seen the game of the wrecking ball, smashing new illegal constructions in its way in the past, and now as well. Sources from the district administration have made it very clear that the nation’s capital would not tolerate the mushrooming of illegal constructions which have risen in the past two months or so, especially near the 900 meter IAF depot area which is a restricted zone.

Sources with the administration say there would be a satellite survey of the restricted zone done, which would then help them chalk out which of the new constructions are illegal and how to plan on the demolition move as well. Once the survey is done and complete, data would be matched with surveys done in the past, and where new illegal constructions are noticed asmashing new illegal constructionsnd have come up in the past two month, they would strike the wrecking ball

Police protection would be given to the MCG authorities while the demolition drive comes about. This is because in the past when such activities happened, the local mobs pelted the authorities with stones, resulting in injuries and violence on a large scale.  Sources from the administration confirmed that any vehicle found transporting construction materials in the restricted zone has to be impounded or challenged for the same, and night patrolling would be very high as well to keep a check on such illegal activities.
