Bangalore One Service at your doorstep
Very shortly, you can have mobile Bangalore One centres hitting the roads where you can pay your utility bills. The objective is to redefine public service by focusing on the common man. The buses will be deployed in places with a significant presence of apartment dwellers who have no access to Bangalore One outlets. Initially, the Bangalore One plans to deploy two specially designed buses for the convenience of the public. Bangalore One is spending approximately Rs 45 lakh on the two buses.
The mobile service will operate from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. It will move to residential areas near an open space to enable people to use it. It will especially benefit senior citizens, women and apartment dwellers who have no access to Bangalore One outlets.
The number of buses will be increased depending on the response from people. The interior of the buses are being designed by a premier educational institution. Bangalore One is still in the process of finalizing the exact timings. e-governance department is all set to launch its mobile service within the next two months.
