Load shedding haunts citizens of Vijayawada
The power consumption in Vijayawada has almost reached 60 million units a day wherein the previous year city saw usage of only 30 to 35 million units.
Now that the usage has drastically increased, power department has no other go but to stick to load shedding.
With the increasing power utilization, there will soon be prevalence of five-hour load-shedding everyday. This news comes as a surprise and the residents of the city are spending days in fear.
On one hand, the residents are worried about the household works and children’s exams which are fast approaching and on the other the small scale and factories are worried about their productivity and work getting delayed.
