CMRL sends notices to property owners

Until the metro constructions are completed in Chennai, the residents seems to have tough time.
The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) recently issued notices to the property owners who stay along the metro routes to seal the borewells and open wells.
According to the metro construction experts, the borewells and open wells above 16.5 metre on both sides from the centre of the alignment for tunnelling is restricted.
Metro alignment goes beneath residential areas and this is the reason why CMRL is demanding the closure of borewells.
