Sign of land row in Shahberi again
Farmers and residents at Shahberi have a reason to worry again.
A hint of land row has taken birth at the first village in Noida Extension hit by land acquisition cases.
The Greater Noida authority had demolished few illegal structures in Shahberi inspite of protests from farmers.
The authority has to say that they carried on with the demolition drive keeping a notification issued in 1991 in mind.
The notification states that to initiate any construction in the region, the owner has to take a no-objection certificate from the authority.
From earlier SC’s order of quashing of land acquisition, Shahberi had seen a stop of construction on around 6,500 flats.
