BDA planning on green zones
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has constituted a technical committee on planning of land use pattern such as commercial, residential and green zone in the city.
The panel, headed by BDA planning member Pitabasa Sahoo, will find out deviations in land use pattern between comprehensive development plan (CDP) and 14 zonal development plans (ZDPs) for various parts of the state capital, a senior government officer said. In case the committee disagrees with the ZDPs, it would suggest alternative plan for land use pattern, a BDA order said.
The green zone cities have been in quite demand in the metropolitans of late. Other cities have also been hence stressing on that. The new generation are ready to shed some extra money if that means banking on some green resources and ecological needs that they can get. This present generation have become aware of the fast depleting resources in our country which has been causing a lot of trouble.
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority has also been taking up the similar measures which might help them to meet with these problems and help in construction of residential and green zone areas in the city.
