Empty plots in Gurgaon turned into herbal parks
Gurgaon has been witnessing many upcoming apartments and still many vacant plots could be seen around.
The residents of South City-1 have found vacant plots which they planned to turn into herbal park.
The two herbal parks which were developed by joint association of residents’ welfare association (RWA) and the horticulture department.
Herbal parks thus developed will have medicinal plants like neem, ashwagandha, ashok, peepal, belpatra, amla, tulsi and various other plants taken from The Energy Research Institute (Teri).
Residents have planned to spend three hours a day, i.e., from 4 to 7pm on Wednesdays in the garden.
