Rain Water Harvesting in Haryana

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has planned to promote the rain water harvesting among the apartments. HUDA is making it compulsory to construct an arrangement for rain water harvesting.The department made it clear that the commercialization of under ground water is not permitted under any circumstances.They also initiated to install water meters for all the tube wells to restrict the usage of underground water.The authority also suggested that in the real areas the tube wells will be used for agriculture and also for meeting for the domestic requirements only.
