Apartments in Himachal pradesh will be costlier
The commission headed by Justice DP Sood, proposed the state government of Himachal Pradesh to moderate the Apartment and property regulation act of 2005.
The act was planned in favor of builders and they can build and sell flats in various categories.
According to the commission, the illegal land transactions are encouraged by the act.
As the government does not have enough manpower to check all the construction work and to save the natural forested environment of the city, the commission has suggested to withdraw the act.
The builders association think that with the withdrawal of the act, the construction work will be reduced while there is high demand of apartments in the state.
