Online property registrations severely hit by server crash
The online property registrations were severely affected due to a server crash at the sub-registrar’s office in Chembur, Mumbai. The areas include Kurla, Powai, Sion, eastern and central suburbs.
Officials said that the server was suffering from technical issues from the past week and that there were efforts being put to restore it.
The daily registrations had come down from 80-40 although the engineers were trying to fix the problem. Urgent registrations were forwarded to the section wherein the work is done manually. It is said that the server will be restored in two days.
