A senior Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) official reported saying that only a part of city roads will be dug up as they are following up cut and cover method. The junction from Tolstoy Marg to Windsor Place is expected to be most affected due to the Metro construction.
The higher concerned officials have planned for the well maintenance of the traffic by diverting all the vehicles through Tolstoy Marg, Kasturba Gandhi Marg and Parliament Street. However smooth movement of vehicles are expected. The junction from Windsor Place to Western Court are cleared for commuters visiting buildings along either side of the road.
